The advantage of recirculating systems and DWC is that they are very effective.
For example, plants grow much faster than when grown in soil.
Since the roots are constantly in direct contact with the pure nutrient solution, nutrients can be absorbed more easily.
However, this can also be a big disadvantage. Since there is no buffering effect as in soil,
plants react immediately to any inaccuracy in the nutrient solution.
If you are growing or planning to grow in a DWC system, you may have asked yourself the question:
"How much of which fertilizer or additive do I actually need to add to my
nutrient solution to achieve my desired EC value, and are the ratios correct?"
That's why DWC was not necessarily suitable for beginners, as you need to know exactly what you are doing.
eacygrow is changing that now.
In the following, I would like to show you step by step how easy it is with eacygrow
to always provide the optimal nutrient solution for your plants.
Step 1
Fill your system with water to the desired amount and measure the current EC value.
Step 2
Open the NutS-Calc. and enter the current EC value under "Clean Water EC".
Step 3
Mix the optimal nutrient solution with your desired "Final-EC" and go to "Final NutS."
Step 4
Enter the total amount in liters that is in your system and add the amounts of your fertilizers/additives in ml indicated by eacygrow.
That's it.
With eacygrow, even beginners can achieve excellent results.
