Information on the Disposal of Used Batteries
As a retailer, we are obliged under the German Battery Act (BattG) to provide our customers with information on the correct disposal of batteries and to offer return options. We thank you for your cooperation and commitment to the recycling process, and together we contribute to the protection of our environment.
Obligation for Proper Disposal
As a consumer, you are legally obliged to dispose of batteries and accumulators in an environmentally friendly manner. This means that used batteries and accumulators do not belong in household waste. By disposing of them correctly, you contribute to environmental and health protection by ensuring that harmful substances are disposed of in a controlled manner and valuable raw materials are recycled.
Free Return Options
You can return old batteries that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range free of charge to our dispatch warehouse. Returns are also possible at municipal collection points or in retail stores. For the return of old batteries, please use the following address:

Symbols and Their Meaning
On batteries, you will find the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin, indicating that batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. Batteries that contain harmful substances are additionally marked with the chemical symbol of the respective harmful substance:
Cd for cadmium
Pb for lead
Hg for mercury
Safety Instructions
Please ensure that batteries are discharged before returning them, especially if they are swollen or damaged. Protect the environment and your personal data by resetting devices containing batteries or deleting personal data before disposal.
