The Spider Farmer GGS IR Remote (IR Air Conditioner Companion) enables the intelligent integration of standard air conditioners into the Spider Farmer GGS ecosystem. Via the Spider Farmer App, room cooling can be fully automated based on real-time temperature and humidity readings. The system operates in a closed-loop control circuit: when the target temperature is exceeded, the air conditioner activates and automatically switches back to standby mode once the setpoint is reached. This prevents heat stress and ensures a stable environmental climate in the grow tent.

For climate management, flexible schedules as well as manual, cycle, and environmental modes are available. This allows for the simulation of natural day and night temperature fluctuations for various growth phases. Temperature settings can be adjusted precisely in 1°C increments.

The powerful infrared transmitter has a transmission angle of 20° and covers an effective range of up to 8 meters, provided there is a clear line of sight to the air conditioner's receiver. The device supports a wide range of well-known air conditioner brands via an integrated code library. Additionally, commands can be cloned directly from the original remote control using an IR learning function. The remote is natively compatible with various Spider Farmer controllers and integrates seamlessly into existing setups with grow lights and exhaust systems.
