The Spider Farmer SF4000 LED is a highly efficient lighting solution for professional indoor horticulture. Equipped with top-tier premium Bridgelux high-efficiency LEDs, the system delivers powerful, uniform light output at a real power draw of 450 watts (±5%).

Optimized PPFD Light Distribution for Maximum Yields

The technical design focuses on a perfectly balanced PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) light distribution across the entire core cultivation area. Through an optimized layout and an increased number of diodes, the photon flux density is dispersed so that plants in the edges of the cultivation zone also receive a homogeneous amount of light. This uniform distribution prevents hotspots, ensures consistent canopy penetration, and enables stable, predictable harvests on a core area of 120 x 120 cm and a maximum area of up to 150 x 150 cm.

Thanks to an engineering upgrade, the sophisticated Bridgelux diodes operate under a lower individual load. This reduces internal component stress, ensures excellent thermal stability, and extends the system's lifespan to up to 55,000 operating hours. Photon efficacy (PPE) reaches a peak value of 2.7 µmol/J.

Flexible Full Spectrum for All Growth Stages

The highly efficient full spectrum covers all phases of the plant cycle – from germination to harvest. It consists of the following wavelengths and color temperatures:

• 2800-3000K (Warm White): Provides an increased red spectrum to support the generative phase (flowering).
• 4800-5000K (Cool White): Provides blueish light for healthy, compact vegetative growth.
• 660-665nm (Deep Red) & 730-740nm (Infrared / IR): Accelerate flowering time and maximize harvest weight in the demanding bloom phase.

Construction, Control, and Cooling

The SF4000 is equipped with a dimmer box and a stepless dimming knob to flexibly adjust light intensity to current needs. Via universal 0-10V control protocols, multiple lights can also be daisy-chained and controlled centrally (Multi-Light Connection) – ideal for commercial applications and larger areas. The system operates completely silently without fan noise due to passive cooling via a massive, thick aluminum heat sink, and emits only a minimal amount of heat during operation. A reliable brand-name driver with high safety performance and high-quality potting guarantees an optimal power supply, while protective covers for the cables increase operational safety.
